Halka without the highland dances, Jontek's dumka or the aria Gdyby rannym słonkiem? The last production to open in the 2018/19 season at the Teatr Wielki, Warsaw is the original version of Halka directed by Agnieszka Glińska and featuring young singers. Łukasz Borowicz and Rafał Kłoczko conduct the Orchestra of the Polish National Opera. The show opens on 8 June on the opera house's small stage; subsequent performances are scheduled for 11, 13 and 25 June.
